For anyone who listens to National Public Radio, knows how amazing the show This American Life is. I've been listening to TAL for close to 15 years and every time I listen I am totally captivated by it. I view the creator, Ira Glass, as sort of a Woody Alan for the 21st century.
I ran across some video clips of an interview with Ira Glass on YouTube where he talks about the creative process in creating audio or video productions. They are fascinating little mini-lectures that anyone who has endevored in a creative production can learn from.

Adobe announced today that they have identified several "critical vulnerabilities" in Adobe Reader 7.0 through 7.08 and Adobe Acrobat 7.0 through 7.08. This affects many internet users since the Reader plugin is commonly used by internet users to view PDFs in their browser. Note that this vulnerability only affects Windows users using Internet Explorer. It takes advantage of IE's horribly insecure ActiveX scripting facility. Please read the security bulletin for more info on how to secure yourself using Acrobat or Reader. Note that this exploit does not affect Mac users or PC users using Not Using Internet Explorer (ie: Firefox). Adobe recommends upgrading to Acrobat or Reader 8 or wait for the security patch to be released next week.

I have to share an automated "your purchase has shipped" email I received from Despair.com .
"If you have received this email, it means that your credit card information proved valid and that your order has been sent. You might assume now that we have your money that you're in for better treatment. You might also assume that if you try really hard, you will succeed. But your assumptions would, in both cases, be completely wrong. And that is why you REALLY need our products.
