 Spring has sprung, along with the official launching of The Next Picture Show’s new website. The Next Picture Show is located in the heart of downtown Dixon, Illinois and is a non-profit fine arts community center serving the Illinois Rock River Valley.
The gallery provides art classes, workshops, and special event rental space. It’s mission is to nurture, develop, educate, foster the arts, and galvanize artists and patrons within the community.
Affinity AV was given the challenge of taking some of the elements of the previous website, such as color theme and content, and bringing the added elements of having a website that can be updated by gallery personnel at any time. This last feature was important to have to keep the site up-to-date instantly and not dependant on the schedule of the web designers.
 New features include:
- A rotating slide show on the home page featuring some of the work in the currently featured show
- A virtual tour of the main level of the gallery
- A section of Gallery News of any art news event either about the gallery or about any arts organization in the area
- A complete Calendar of Events that can be searched by category
- An Exhibiting Artist Member Directory with artist supplied images of their work
- A sign-up area for the gallery's permission-based newsletter
