The Next Picture Show (TNPS) (visit their site ) - This non-profit fine arts center is in the
Rock River Valley. Their goal is to nurture, develop, educate, foster the
arts, and galvanize artists and patrons within the community. Located in the heart of downtown Dixon, Illinois, since 2004, this center provides education, entertainment, workshops, classes and other special events for many communities in northwestern Illinois.
When TNPS opened it's doors in 2004 -- after a complete building renovation, their next major task was to develop a website that would allow volunteers and gallery administrators the capability of adding/deleting events, artist members and images of their work, news events, and class/workshop information. The front page also features a rolling slideshow of the current show's exhibit, and teasers for both upcoming shows and classes and workshops. Finally, a virtual tour was created to show the interior of the main gallery.
